Srinagar, February 27, 2026 : Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday said he was on his way to Hubli to cheer for the Jammu and Kashmir cricket team as it prepares to play the final of the Ranji Trophy.
Sharing a photograph from his flight, the Chief Minister expressed immense pride in the team’s performance, stating that by reaching the final, they have already made lakhs of people proud across Jammu and Kashmir.
“Looking forward to spending the day in the stands supporting the team,” he said, describing the occasion as a historic milestone for cricket in the Union Territory.
