The government said that under Mission Youth and Mission YUVA, efforts are underway to create 4.25 lakh job opportunities through the establishment of 1.37 lakh entrepreneurship units, with a focus on self-employment, startups, and skill enhancement.

District Employment and Counselling Centres are also organizing Career Melas and Rozgar Melas to engage and guide youth toward sustainable livelihood avenues.
“Our objective is to transform the energy and education of J&K’s youth into meaningful employment, driving innovation and entrepreneurship across the Union Territory,” the government said.
