::Srinagar, July 5, 2025 Members of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Coal, Mines and Steel, led by its Chairman and MP Anurag Singh Thakur, called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan today.
The Committee is currently on a study visit to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Speaking on the occasion, Anurag Singh Thakur said the visit is part of the Government of India’s broader confidence-building measures in the region following the recent Pahalgam terror attack. “Our presence here sends a clear message that Kashmir is safe, peaceful, and progressing,” he added.
