The parshuram ji rath yatra was heartily welcomed by Gurmeet Singh President Beopar Mandal and Distt Gen Sectt Congress and shopkeepers of Rajinder Bazar Jammu with great pump and show. The prashad in a big thaal was also presented which was distributed among the devotees.
As usual every year the Rath Yatra is welcomed by the association of the Rajinder bazar and many times the Brahman sabha has Awarded to Gurmeet Singh on this occasion. We again welcome and pray God to celebrate such birthday of God Parshuram Ji every year with enthusiasm.
Every year Lord Parshuram Jayanti, the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, is celebrated on the third day of Shukla Paksha of Vaishakh month. The festival of Akshaya Tritiya is celebrated on this date. This time Parshuram Jayanti is on 03 May 2022. On this day Lord Parashuram is worshiped with rituals and processions are taken out. Lord Parashurama was born in a Brahmin family, but his nature and qualities were like that of Kshatriyas. According to the beliefs of Hinduism, there are seven such eternal gods, who have been present on this earth since ages. One of these is Lord Parashurama, the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
Parashurama was an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. He was born before the birth of Lord Shri Ram. It is believed that Lord Parashurama was born in the first prahar of the day and night of Vaishakh Shukla Tritiya. The time of birth of Parashuram ji is considered to be the sandhi period of Satyug and Treta. Parashuram ji, the supreme devotee of Lord Shiva, is considered the god of justice.
