SRINAGAR, April 11, 2026 : The Meteorological Department India has forecast partly to generally cloudy weather with chances of light rain at isolated and scattered places across Jammu and Kashmir over the coming days.
According to Director MeT Mukhtar Ahmad, April 11 is expected to witness partly to generally cloudy conditions, with brief spells of light rain likely at scattered places, especially during afternoon or evening hours.
He said April 12 will largely remain dry, though isolated areas may experience brief light showers in the afternoon. From April 13 to 15, weather conditions are expected to stay generally dry across the region.
However, a change is likely between April 16 and 17, when the weather may turn generally cloudy with light rain or thundershowers at scattered places, particularly in the late afternoon or evening. Thereafter, from April 18 to 22, the weather is expected to remain mostly dry again.
The MeT department has advised farmers to take advantage of the largely stable weather conditions and resume agricultural operations accordingly.
