President Ram Nath Kovind arrived in Kingston on his state visit to Jamaica. He is the first President of India to visit Jamaica. Sir Patrick Allen, Governor General of Jamaica and PM Andrew Holness received President Ram Nath Kovind at the airport.

Pakka Danga Traders Association held a meeting under the leadership of President Harish Gupta. In the meeting, it was decided that all the shops of the market will be closed for four days for summer vacations from June 16 to 19.
