*DIG POLICE SHAKTI PATHAK (IPS) TO GET THIS YEAR’S “KAILAKH SANSKRIT RATTAN PURASKAR”.*
Jammu: This year’s “Kailakh Sanskrit Rattan Puraskar” will be given to Sanskrit scholar DIG Police Shakti Pathak (IPS). He will be given this honor for promoting Devavani Sanskrit. This information was given by Mahant Rohit Shastri, President of Shri Kailakh Jyotish and Vedic Sansthan Trust.
He told that since 2017, in order to promote Devvani Sanskrit on behalf of the Trust, “Kailakh Sanskrit Rattan Puraskar” is being given to Sanskrit scholars every year for doing excellent work in the field of Devavani Sanskrit. This year, the trust has decided that Sanskrit scholar DIG Shakti Pathak (IPS) will be given this award.
DIG Shakti Pathak (IPS), basically from Basohli, is a resident of Jammu and Kashmir and is currently serving in Jammu and Kashmir Police as Director, SSF Raj Bhawan, Jammu and Kashmir and is also the honorary director of Chudamani Sanskrit Sansthan.
Chudamani Sanskrit Sansthan is providing free of cost education in Devavani Sanskrit and modern subjects. It was founded by DIG Pathak’s father, late Dr. Uttam Chand Pathak Shastri. Dr. Pathak did a wonderful and great work to promote Sanskrit language, cultural and heritage values through this school.
Shakti Pathak ji is playing a very special role in the upliftment of the society by doing the important work of taking Devavani Sanskrit language and Indian culture to the people. Shakti Pathak ji and his family have made invaluable contribution in the promotion and development of Sanskrit language in India. Shakti Pathak ji is well known for promoting Sanskrit language in the country. Today, the students who have studied from his father are posted in high positions in the State Government and Central Government. The younger generation should also contribute towards the preservation of the state and the nation’s culture by following the example of Shakti Pathak ji, said Mahant Rohit Shastri.
Mahant Rohit Shastri also announced that the “Kailakh Rattan Puraskar” will be bestowed uoon Shakti Pathak ji in a grand event on World Sanskrit Day in Jammu.
