Bandipur: Due to the recent snowfall in the border area of Gurez in Bandipora district of north Kashmir , the children as well as the teaching staff are facing difficulties due to the lack of heating management and demanded suitable arrangements in the schools.
In a statement District President JK Teachers Forum Bandipora Mir Bashir Ahmad said “As a result of recent snowfall in Guraiz, Teachers and students are facing hardships due to bone-chilling harsh climate conditions and in absence of sufficient heating arrangements in classrooms teaching learning process also get derailed.therefore it is important that proper arrangements are put inplace in the schools.As such i appeal authorities at command to make heating arrangements in the schools so that teaching learning process in schools is carried farward with zeal and zest.”He added
The temperature remains below subzero during winter months in Gurez and it is mandatory for the education department to make proper heating arrangements in the schools.
He said that despite harsh climate conditions ,teachers are discharging their duties with utmost dedication for which they deserve all commendations and congratulations and It is important that they are provided with basic facilities to fight the cold weather.
He appealed worthy District Development Commissioner Dr. Owais Ahmad(IAS) and the Chief Education Officer Bandipora to provide heating arrangements to the school heads in Gurez, so that their studies of students won’t get affected.
