Srinagar, September 8, 2025 : The Special Crime Wing Srinagar conducted raids at multiple locations in Ganderbal district in connection with a case registered under FIR No. 23/2024 U/S 302 IPC.
Searches were carried out at the residences of Mohammad Afzal Sheikh and Farooq Ahmad Sheikh, both sons of Ghulam Qadir Sheikh from Bonzila, Haripora, as well as Wajid Rasool Dar, son of Ghulam Rasool Dar, resident of Haripora, Ganderbal. The operation was conducted under search warrants issued by the competent court, with the assistance of a Duty Magistrate and local police. The case, initially registered at Police Station Ganderbal, was later transferred to the Special Crime Wing Srinagar by the Police Headquarters J&K for further investigation, which is currently ongoing.
