JAMMU, April 7, 2026 : Jammu and Kashmir Police Headquarters has appointed Tahir Ashraf Bhatti as the Enquiry Officer to conduct a fact-finding probe into the alleged involvement of Sub-Inspector Zakir Hussain.
The decision comes following the transfer of IPS officer Divya to Puducherry and her relieving from the Union Territory.

🔹 Findings to be submitted to Police Headquarters within 15 days
The move signals a time-bound investigation to establish facts and ensure accountability in the case.
