Poonch, July 21, 2025 : A tragic incident occurred on Monday in Poonch district, where a five-year-old student was Died and several others injured after a large rock from a nearby mountain struck a government school building in the Banch area.
According to Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Poonch, Dr. P.A. Khan, the rock rolled down and hit the building of Government Primary School Kalissan, causing injuries to multiple students. The injured were immediately shifted to District Hospital Poonch for treatment.
The deceased has been identified as Ehsan Ali (5), son of Mohd Razaq, a resident of Kalsan Bhainch.
