Jammu, August 21, 2025 : Security forces launched a search operation on Thursday after locals reported spotting a suspected drone in the Gajansoo border area of Jammu district, officials said.
Police and other agencies immediately cordoned off the area and began searches. A senior officer said it is still unclear whether the drone originated from the Indian side or flew in from across the border.
The Border Security Force (BSF) guards the International Border in Jammu, where repeated drone sightings have raised serious security concerns. Authorities remain on high alert as investigations continue.
