SRINAGAR, April 15, 2026 : National Conference president Farooq Abdullah emphasized that conflict yields nothing but destruction, urging Pakistan to move towards peace.
Speaking on the sidelines of an Army event at the Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry (JAKLI) Regimental Centre in Rangreth, he said:
“Nothing can be achieved through conflict. Conflict only brings destruction. It is time our neighbour understands this and puts an end to it.”

Farooq Abdullah stressed that prolonged tensions have only hindered progress and prosperity, expressing hope for a peaceful future.

He also extended prayers for:
