Anantnag, September 9, 2025 : In a significant anti-drug operation, Anantnag Police recovered around 95 kilograms of contraband during a raid at a rented accommodation in Grendash, under Police Station Aishmuqam.
The operation, conducted under the supervision of SDPO Pahalgam and in presence of the Executive Magistrate, led to the seizure of six bags of ‘Fukki’, containing both grinded material and pods.
One accused, Parvez Ahmed Boked (S/O Bashir Ahmad Boked, R/O Ainobra), was arrested at the scene, while the prime suspect Mukhtar Ahmed Boked (S/O Rafiq Ahmed, R/O Jammu) managed to flee. Efforts are underway to apprehend him.
A case has been registered under FIR No. 62/2025 at Police Station Aishmuqam under relevant sections of the NDPS Act, with further investigation ongoing to dismantle the entire drug network.
