Katra, September 12, 2025 : The Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra will resume from Sunday, September 14, 2025, after a temporary suspension due to adverse weather conditions and essential maintenance work on the track leading to the Holy Shrine.
The Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) has announced that the resumption of the pilgrimage will be subject to favourable weather conditions. Pilgrims are advised to carry valid identification documents and strictly adhere to the designated pathways. Cooperation with on-ground staff is essential to ensure the smooth and safe conduct of the Yatra.
The Board has reiterated the continued use of RFID-based tracking systems for all pilgrims to enhance transparency, ensure real-time monitoring, and improve the overall safety of the Yatra.
