Jammu, September 12, 2025 : Mubashir Amin, a Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) officer of the 2013 batch, has been selected for the prestigious Chevening Award 2025-26. Under this scholarship, Amin will pursue a Master’s degree in Public Policy at SOAS University of London, starting in September 2025.
An engineering graduate, Amin has over 12 years of experience in the state civil services. He has served in key administrative roles, contributing significantly to policy implementation and governance reforms in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Chevening Award is the UK government’s global scholarship programme, aimed at developing future leaders by offering fully funded academic courses at top universities.
Amin’s selection reflects his dedication to public service and commitment to advancing governance in the region.
