Shah Faesal Among 10 Officers Appointed as Central Prabhari for Aspirational Blocks in J&K, Ladakh

📍 Jammu, October 3, 2025 : The Centre has appointed 10 senior officers as Central Prabhari for Aspirational Blocks under the Government’s flagship development programme — eight in Jammu & Kashmir and two in Ladakh.

Notably, IAS officer Shah Faesal, Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Culture, has been assigned to Tulail block of Bandipora.

Other key appointments include:

• Ankita Anand (IAS) – Marwah, Kishtwar (J&K)

• Mujtaba Ahmad (IDAS) – Manzgam, Kulgam (J&K)

• Vivek Gupta (IRS-C&IT) – Mankote, Poonch (J&K)

• Sushant Sudan (IES) – Wakoora, Ganderbal (J&K)

• Harleen Kaur (IAS) – Khwas, Rajouri (J&K)

• Gurmeet Singh (IRTS) – Khari, Ramban (J&K)

• Nitish Suri (ITradeS) – Thakrakote, Reasi (J&K)

• Ravi Dhawan (IAS) – Karsha, Kargil (Ladakh)

• Himanshu Gupta (IAS) – Rupsho, Leh (Ladakh)

The move is aimed at accelerating developmental initiatives and governance reforms in remote and underdeveloped blocks of J&K and Ladakh, ensuring focused monitoring and faster implementation of welfare schemes.
