Srinagar, November 2, 2025 : Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday urged officials to adopt a 360-degree approach to completely dismantle terrorism and its ecosystem in Jammu and Kashmir, while chairing a high-level security review meeting in Srinagar.
An official spokesperson said the LG called for continuous ground-level assessment and coordinated efforts between the civil administration and security agencies to achieve a terror-free J&K.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, DGP Nalin Prabhat, Special DGP S.J.M. Gillani, and senior police officials, including range and district police chiefs from across the Valley.
“We must adopt a 360-degree approach to completely dismantle terrorism and its support system,” Sinha said, emphasizing a multi-pronged strategy integrating intelligence, operations, community outreach, and counter-narrative initiatives.
The LG also underlined the importance of combating fake news and false propaganda, directing officials to strengthen information monitoring systems and engage youth through self-employment and grievance redressal mechanisms.
Sinha further instructed the security and administrative machinery to stay vigilant and winter-ready, ensuring seamless coordination to preempt any threat during the season.
