Doda, November 12, 2025 : For the sixth consecutive day, the Doda Police continued its extensive crackdown on Over Ground Workers (OGWs), sympathisers, and associates of surrendered, released, and killed terrorists across the district.
The sustained operations are part of a larger district-wide campaign to dismantle the terror support network and strengthen preventive policing mechanisms.
Under the supervision of SSP Doda Sandeep Mehta (JKPS), police teams carried out searches at multiple locations, thoroughly verifying the antecedents of individuals previously linked with terror activities, Jammu and Kashmir Nationals Operating from Pakistan (JKNOPs), and others under surveillance.
Police also conducted checks on SIM card vendors to ensure strict adherence to KYC norms and to curb the misuse of communication networks by anti-national elements.
During the operations, several individuals were booked under preventive sections of law for suspicious activities and possible involvement in aiding terror elements. Authorities have warned that any person providing shelter, logistical, or financial support to terrorists will face strict legal action.
Officials said the drive demonstrates Doda Police’s unwavering commitment to peace and security, ensuring that no individual or group revives the terror ecosystem in any form.
The police have urged the public to cooperate and share information regarding any suspicious movements or persons with the nearest Police Station. The identity of informers will be kept confidential, they assured.
