Mendhar/Jammu, November 13, 2025 : Security forces on Thursday launched a major search operation across six border areas of Poonch district as part of heightened security measures in Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.
A joint team of the Army, CRPF, and Special Operations Group (SOG) conducted the searches in Salwah forests, Bareela Kass, Kasbalari, Bagyoute, Parnai Project Nakka Manjhari, and Gursai Moorie areas.
Officials said forces remain on high alert, and locals have been urged to report any suspicious movement or activity in the region.
