JAMMU, November 27, 2025: Thirteen passengers were injured on Thursday after a passenger bus crashed into a pillar of an under-construction flyover along the Jammu-Pathankot National Highway near Bari Brahmana.
Police officials said the bus, which was travelling from Jammu to Kathua, slammed into the pillar after the driver lost control—allegedly due to overspeeding. The impact left several passengers with injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
Emergency teams and local police rushed to the spot and shifted all the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment. Authorities are examining whether negligence or mechanical failure may have contributed to the accident.
A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
