Pulwama, December 2,2025 : In a major action against drug trafficking, Pulwama Police recovered 1.190 kg of suspected charas powder during a naka checking at Koil Pulwama near the bridge.
The accused, Tariq Ahmad Rather of Lajoora Pulwama, has been arrested. A case under FIR No. 279/2025 (Sections 8 & 20 NDPS Act) has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
Pulwama Police urges citizens to stay vigilant and report any information related to drug peddling to help keep our community safe.
