JAMMU, February 14, 2026 : Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday paid rich tributes to the brave Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel who laid down their lives in the Pulwama terror attack in 2019.

“Humble tributes to the valiant martyrs who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty during the dastardly terrorist attack in Pulwama in 2019. Their unwavering commitment, unparalleled bravery and selfless service to the motherland will forever inspire every citizen,” the Lieutenant Governor said in a post on X.

On February 14, 2019, a suicide bomber rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into a bus carrying CRPF personnel in Pulwama, killing 40 jawans. The attack sent shockwaves across the nation and drew widespread condemnation.

Days after the attack, India carried out a retaliatory operation known as the Balakot airstrike, targeting terrorist infrastructure across the border.

The nation continues to remember the sacrifice of the Pulwama martyrs, reaffirming its resolve against terrorism and honoring the courage of the armed forces.
