DEORIA (Uttar Pradesh), February 20, 2026 : Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday attended the Mahayagya and Prana-Pratishtha ceremony at the sacred Shri Lakshminarayan Temple in Bankatashiv, describing the occasion as a symbol of India’s ongoing civilisational revival and spiritual awakening.
Addressing a public gathering, the Lieutenant Governor offered a threefold vision for the nation’s future, stating that India must strive to emerge as the world’s foremost nation, a formidable global power, and a leading centre of knowledge and intellectual wealth.
Emphasising the responsibility of citizens, he said the devotion that preserved India’s culture through centuries of adversity must now inspire the younger generation. “The wisdom of the past must be transformed into the strength of the present, illuminating the path forward,” he remarked.
The LG said the sacred ceremony represents not merely a religious event but a reaffirmation of timeless values that continue to bind society together. He noted that such occasions help revitalise cultural consciousness and transmit civilisational ethos across generations.
Referring to the broader national transformation, Sinha said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is witnessing not only economic progress but also a deep-rooted civilisational awakening. He said the global community now recognises India as an emerging power driven by inclusive growth, technological advancement, and world-class infrastructure.
“Today, fresh energy flows through every sphere of development, alongside a renaissance of spiritual and cultural consciousness,” he said, adding that the India envisioned as a developed nation by 2047 will be economically strong, spiritually enriched, culturally confident, and fully awakened to its true identity.
The Lieutenant Governor expressed confidence that Shri Lakshminarayan Temple would inspire youth to take pride in India’s glorious heritage while motivating them to actively participate in shaping a progressive and value-based future.
