UDHAMPUR, April 6, 2026 : In a major connectivity push, Union Minister Jitendra Singh announced that ATR flights will begin from Udhampur within the next few months using existing infrastructure, while the process for developing a full-fledged civilian airport has officially begun.
The Minister said land transfer formalities are underway with the support of the UT administration, marking a crucial step toward establishing a dedicated civilian airport in the region.
