SRINAGAR, April 7, 2026 : The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested two officials of the PWD (R&B) Mechanical Division, North Kashmir, Baramulla for allegedly demanding and accepting a ₹13,000 bribe to release a pending payment.
The accused have been identified as Mushtaq Ahmad (Senior Assistant) and Farooq Ahmad (Junior Assistant).

🔹 FIR registered under Prevention of Corruption Act & BNS
After verification, ACB laid a trap operation and caught both officials red-handed while accepting the bribe. They were taken into custody on the spot after completing legal formalities.
