Srinagar, August 27, 2026 : Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Pratik Sharma on Thursday reviewed the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness of troops deployed in South Kashmir, directing personnel to remain proactive, vigilant and mission-ready to maintain operational dominance.
During his visit, the Army Commander was briefed on the evolving security environment, operational challenges and measures being undertaken to further strengthen the security grid across the region.
