*Dhanyavaad Yatra of PT ST Forum reached Kotranka block.*
*People at large distributed sweets and celebrated by singing and dancing*
During the second day of Dhanyawad Yatra launched by Pahari Tribe ST Forum, Yatra reached block Kotranka and many celebrations happened across different nooks and corners of the area. The main celebration held at Bus Stand Kotranka where people at large distributed sweets and danced on the tunes of songs full of gratitude towards government of India The Yatra also visited Kandi lower, upper kandi, khreon, Ratta Danda, Marg, Patli, Saranandan, huppi and many more. The sole aim of Dhanyawad Yatra is to express gratitude to GOI lead by Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi ji and Hon’ble HM Amit Shah ji for fulfilling the commitment of rendering due ST status to Pahari Tribe.
Pertinent to mention on 3rd of November NCST recommend Pahari Tribe to included in ST category. Earlier RGI and Tribal Affairs Ministry has also cleared the case of Pahari Tribe to be included in ST criteria.
