BJP Govt stands committed to overall development of J&K: Sham Langar
JAMMU, APR 24: Sham Lal Langar, Convener Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Trade and Industries Cell Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) said that BJP Government at the Centre stands fully committed to the overall development and prosperity of the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.
In a handout released to media here today, the senior BJP leader said that Jammu and Kashmir under the stewardship of astute Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scaling new heights in the development sector thus implementing the development projects at unprecedented scale as well as at never before witnessed pace as per the commitment of the party.
Sham Langar endorsed statement of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha that investment proposals worth Rs. 52,088 crore have been approved in just one year i.e, from March 2021 to April 15, 2022. This has been achieved despite Covid pandemic having adversely affected the economic cycle. He said that besides this the LG Administration has paved the way forward for creating immense employment opportunities for the youths of Jammu and Kashmir as a direct effect of the above mentioned investments.
Throwing lights on the achievements of BJP in J&K, Langar said that establishment of AIIMS, ring roads, IIT, IIM, bridges, hydroelectric projects, expansion of Jammu Airport and many more. He said that the sort of development J&K has witnessed in these five years, had never witnessed before.
Asserting that this shows the strong commitment of BJP Government at the Centre to brining a revolutionary change in the developmental scenario of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory, he reminded the people at large especially the youth to avail the benefits of the schemes launched by the Union Government for the welfare and prosperity of every section of the society.
