SAMBA, August 3, 2025 : Three rusted artillery shells were discovered near the banks of the Basantar river in Palth village, Samba district, officials said on Sunday. Acting on information from locals, police rushed a bomb disposal squad to the spot. The shells were safely neutralized in a controlled explosion, with no damage or injuries reported.
