*ADGP GARIB DASS TAKES OVER THE CHARGE OF DIRECTOR SKPA UDHAMPUR

Garib Dass, IPS, ADGP, Commissioner, Civil Military Liaison, Home Deptt. J&K on Friday took over the additional charge of the Director Sher-I-Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur. He received the charge from Sh. T. Namgyal, IPS, ADGP who stands relieved for taking up the new assignment in Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) on deputation basis.
The outgoing officer briefed Sh. Garib Dass about various initiatives taken recently for up-gradation of infrastructure and other allied issues related to the training of various courses going on in the Police Academy. He also apprised him about the preparations being made in connection with the forthcoming batches of Prob. DySsP and Prob. Sub Inspectors who will be undergoing their basic training at this Academy. Sh. T. Namgyal wished him all the best for a successful tenure. Among others, Sh. Mohan Lal, SSP, Dy. Director (Indoor/ Outdoor Training), Sh. Vinay Kumar, SSP, Dy. Director (Administration), Shri Pawan Kumar, Asstt. Director (Outdoor), Sh. Suraj Singh, Asstt. Director (Training / R&D), Sh. Tahir Hussain, Asstt. Director (Indoor), Sh. Sunmati Gupta, Asstt. Director (Q) and other officers of SKPA Udhampur were present on the occasion.
