Anantnag, August 19, 2025 : In a major action against the terror network, Anantnag Police has attached immovable property of an active terrorist in Bijbehara.
The land, measuring under Khasra No. 165 MIN at Guree, Bijbehara, belonged to Adil Hussain Thoker, son of Wali Mohammed Thoker, a resident of Guree and currently an active terrorist. The attachment has been carried out under Section 83 of the CrPC.
This action is linked to FIR No. 11/2023, registered under Sections 20 and 38 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and Sections 2/3 of the EIMCO Act.
Police said the measure is part of ongoing efforts to dismantle the terror support ecosystem in the district. Similar actions will continue against individuals aiding or engaging in unlawful and anti-national activities.
Reaffirming its stance, Anantnag Police stated it remains committed to ensuring peace, security, and rule of law in the region.
