Day wise activities were performed by the NSS Volunteers
Nss units of Govt. SPMR college of Commerce celebrated Communal Harmony week from 19 to 25 Nov’ . To commemorate this week, day wise activities were performed by the Nss volunteers. The first day of began with Nss volunteers to collect cash contribution and its first started from Dr. Surinder kumar Principal of the college, then faculty and students, volunteers devoted two days in this activity. Afterthat Poster Making Competion was organised on the topic “Everyone Belongs” in which 15 volunteers participated. They showed a a beautiful communal Harmony through colours. The poster activities were judged by Prof. Deepshikha Sharma, Deptt. of English. On next day Nss volunteers were visited Balidan stambh Jammu. where they have learnt understand and feel the contributions of soldiers to save our lives. A cultural and interaction activities performed by the existing and fresh volunteer to feel the belongingness to each other. They keep a day for collection of Unsed clothes from the surroundings in which volunteers, students , and faculty of the institution contributed. Clothes were distributed in the Mother Teresa Home by the Nss Volunteers along with Prof. Deepshikha Sharma, Prof. Rajni Bala(NSS PO), Prof. Apfan Ali (NSS PO) and Dr. Deepak Pathania.During the valedictory function, the Principal of the College appreciated the efforts of NSS PO such a Mega event and also congratulated the students for their participation in the event with zeal and enthusiasm. Prof. Rajni Bala and Prof Apfan Ali, NSS PO, coordinated the whole event. Dr. Deepak Pathania also contributed alot during the whole week by giving Voluntarily Support.
