Sunil Dimple, president mission statehood led a strong protest rally against acute sacristy of drinking water in jammu city on janipur high court road. No drinking water supplied for the last ten days in the west and east assembly constituencies.
Addressing the rally Sunil Dimple said people, women and children are in great problems, no drinking water supplied from the shetali properly for the last ten days. The shetali water supplies have completely failed.
Dimple alleged that since the PHE department has been attached with JMC jammu the drinking water and power supply scenario in jammu has worsened.
The municipal corporation jammu mayor and all wards corporaters are failed and do not take interest in jammu people miseries.
He warned the strong mass agitation against the acute scarcity of drinking water and the power cuts.
He demanded the prime minister to start the work on the chinav akhnoor water supply project as the river tawi is not meeting the requirement of drinking water.
He said totally draught like situation in all wards of jammu, people have no drop of water to drink, bath, washing clothes & utensils. No drinking water in govt schools, hospitals, restaurants, dhabas.
He alleged in jammu city there is shortage of wine in jammu but have no drinking water. The wine shops have created nuisances in the jammu city.
Dimple said no drinking water, no water supply through tankers in Jammu city & region due to PHE company bag has no money to purchase diesel for the PHE water tankers
Dimple extended full support striking PDD, PHE employees in their regularization of the daily wagers.
Dimple said after installation of smart meters the curtailment and power cuts have increased in jammu city.
He also demanded the prime minister to return our power projects back.
Dimple demanded free drinking water and power to the people of jammu Kashmir.
The prominent protestors are Raju Kumar, Ram Kumar das, Dev kumar, Vipan Gupta, Mukesh Gupta, Rakesh Sharma, Jetinder Gupta, Ashok Kumar, Shfi khan, akbar, and many others.
