Jammu, Jun 16, 2025 : An infiltration bid by a group of suspected Pakistani terrorists was foiled along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district early on Sunday.

The incident took place at Baratgala area in Rajouri when the Army personnel witnessed suspicious movement close to the border fence.

An official said a group of heavily armed terrorists was trying to enter into the Indian side from POJK through the fence. “Soon after noticing the suspicious movement, the soldiers fired at the intruders forcing them to return and foiled the infiltration bid,” the official stated.

A search operation was carried out in the area on Sunday morning to assess if the fence was intact.
