Kick-starts development work at Gali Chogan Slathia Ward No 1
JAMMU, Nov 3: Advocate Purnima Sharma, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Mayor today started development work of lane and drain at Gali Chogan Slathia Ward No 1 in presence of party workers and senior citizens of the area.
The aforesaid development work was initiated with an estimated cost of Rs 5 lakhs. The inauguration ceremony was performed by senior citizens of the area in presence of Ex Deputy Mayor.
Speaking on the occasion, the former Deputy Mayor said that the central dispensation led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to overall development of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. She said that Jammu City is moving fast on the path of development which is evident from the developmental works going on across the City of Temples at an unprecedented scale and pace. She said that the government is working relentlessly to create state of art modern facilities infrastructure for the people in every nook and corner across Jammu City.
“Creating an all season and upto the mark infrastructure in Ward No 1 is my top priority and I will do everything which is possible to achieve this goal. People around me already know that I am on the job to make this Ward a Model for all”, she added.
The former Deputy Mayor appealed to the people of the area to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for equitable development of the Union Territory.
