JAMMU, November 20, 2025 : In a decisive action against narcotics trafficking, Jammu & Kashmir Police on Thursday attached property belonging to a drug peddler in Jammu’s Narwal area under the stringent provisions of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
According to an official statement, police in South Zone Jammu seized a Scorpio S11 vehicle (Registration No. JK08G 3535) valued at approximately ₹15 lakh, owned by drug peddler Vishal Kumar, son of Ram Singh, resident of Boot Polish Mohalla, Rajiv Nagar, Narwal.
The accused is already booked in FIR No. 295/2025 under Sections 8/21/22/25/27A/29 of the NDPS Act and 111 BNS, registered at Police Station Bahu Fort.
Attachment Executed as Per NDPS Act
Police said the attachment was carried out by the Investigating Officer of Police Post Narwal, strictly following legal procedures under Section 68(F) of the NDPS Act. The order was issued as part of ongoing proceedings aimed at dismantling drug networks and choking financial gains derived from narcotics trade.
Action Carried Out Under Top-Level Supervision
The entire operation was conducted under the supervision of SSP Jammu, with direct guidance from the SP City South, SDPO City East, and SHO Bahu Fort.
The Jammu Police reiterated its zero-tolerance policy against drug trafficking, vowing to continue aggressive actions against offenders.
