JAMMU | October 29, 2026 : The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the posting of two Junior Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) officers as Tehsildars with immediate effect.
As per the government order, the following postings have been made:
🔹 Manpreet Kour — Posted as Tehsildar, Mandal, Jammu district.
🔹 Sumit Kumar Kaith — Posted as Tehsildar, Assar, Doda district.
📌 The postings are effective immediately, according to the order.
The appointments form part of the administrative deployment of JKAS officers across the Union Territory, supporting local administration and public service delivery at the tehsil level.
