Jammu, March 26, 2026 : The General Administration Department Jammu and Kashmir has issued a strict directive to administrative officers, setting a final deadline for clearing the backlog of Annual Performance Reports (APRs) of JKAS officers.
Highlighting delays in processing APRs for the 2023–24 and 2024–25 assessment years, the government has granted a last opportunity to complete all pending reports through the SPARROW platform.
Key Deadlines Announced
- 2023–24 APR Cycle:
📌 Must be finalized by March 31, 2026
⚠️ No further extension; window will be permanently closed - 2024–25 APR Cycle:
- Reporting Officers: Deadline April 7, 2026
- Reviewing Authorities: Mid-phase processing
- Accepting Authorities: Final deadline April 28, 2026
Strict Enforcement Measures
The government has made it clear that:
- Any incomplete reports beyond deadlines will be automatically “force forwarded”
- Pending cases will be closed without further consideration
- The move aims to enforce accountability and timely performance evaluation
