Jammu, July 17, 2025 : In a significant welfare initiative, the Jammu and Kashmir administration has established the Lieutenant Governor’s Sainik Sahayta Kendra — a dedicated Soldiers’ Assistance and Liaison Cell aimed at swift redressal of grievances faced by serving personnel of the Armed Forces and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) who are residents of or posted in J&K.
The Kendra will serve as a centralized platform to address civilian issues affecting soldiers and ensure timely coordination with relevant departments for resolution of land, pension, service, or welfare-related concerns.
Officials said the move reflects the administration’s commitment to supporting soldiers and their families and ensuring their concerns are addressed with the respect and urgency they deserve.
