Srinagar, October 5, 2025 : Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday said that the future of Jammu and Kashmir’s development is directly tied to the empowerment, creativity, and intellect of its youth, describing the human mind as the “greatest miracle of life.”
“Jammu and Kashmir ka vikas seedha yuva shakti ke saath juda hua hai. We must build an environment that transforms our youth into innovators, problem-solvers, and leaders of tomorrow,” LG Sinha said while addressing a public gathering.
Emphasizing the power of human intellect, he noted that children who learn basic analytical skills like addition, subtraction, and multiplication early in life develop sharper reasoning and decision-making abilities, which serve as a foundation for innovation and leadership.
Citing an example from the tech world, the LG mentioned Google’s initiative to count all the world’s library books, revealing that there are nearly 13 crore unique titles globally.
“The knowledge contained in these 13 crore books can fit into the human brain. If one learns to use their mind fully, they can hold the world’s knowledge within,” Sinha said, underscoring the limitless capacity of the human mind and its role in shaping the future.
Calling upon the youth to think beyond boundaries, he urged them to channel curiosity, discipline, and knowledge toward nation-building.
“Harnessing this mental potential will pave the way for innovation, wisdom, and progress. The youth of J&K are not just the architects of the future but the driving force behind the Union Territory’s transformation,” he said.
