Srinagar, September 26, 2025 : Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today inaugurated the Lieutenant Governor’s Sainik Sahayta Kendra (LGSSK) portal at Raj Bhavan, a landmark initiative dedicated to the welfare of serving personnel of the Armed Forces and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).
The portal, accessible at lgssk.jk.gov.in, has been developed by BISAG-N to further strengthen the functioning of LGSSK. It will serve as a digital support tool for grievance redressal by:

Logging each grievance with proper records

Tracking action taken and providing applicants with status updates

Ensuring structured follow-up and transparent monitoring
While the Kendra continues to function as the institutional platform for soldier welfare facilitation, the portal ensures seamless communication and accountability.
Key Highlights of LGSSK:

Acts as a bridge between serving personnel and the civil administration

Provides time-bound solutions to civil issues of soldiers and their families

Coordinates directly with government offices and arranges facilitation where required

Single-window facilitation centre with offices in Jammu and Srinagar Civil Secretariats
