Srinagar, 24 Aug:- In a significant boost to the Janata Dal United (JD-U) in Jammu and Kashmir, Lok Janshakti Party’s National Spokesperson, Liyaqat Ali, has joined the party, The joining ceremony took place at the JD-U office in Srinagar, where State President GM Shaheen warmly welcomed Ali into the fold.
During the event, GM Shaheen expressed his confidence in Liyaqat Ali’s ability to strengthen the party at the grassroots level. “Liyaqat Ali’s decision to join JD-U is a testament to our growing influence in the region. His experience and dedication will significantly bolster our efforts,” Shaheen stated.
Liyaqat Ali, in turn, expressed his gratitude towards GM Shaheen, referring to him as more than just a political ally. “I have always considered myself a member of GM Shaheen’s family, and today, I am officially returning home,” Ali said. He also took the opportunity to criticize the policies of the Lok Janshakti Party, describing them as ineffective in addressing the real issues on the ground in Jammu and Kashmir.
Ali’s move is seen as a strategic gain for JD-U as the party continues to expand its presence in the region.
