Srinagar, September 4, 2025 : Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Anshul Garg on Thursday assured residents that there is no shortage of essential commodities in the Valley and urged people to remain calm and not fall prey to rumours.
“People need not worry. We must avoid panic and follow only official instructions,” Garg told reporters in Srinagar.
On the availability of supplies, the Div Com said, “We have ample stock of essentials. Fortunately, communication services are running smoothly. Telecom, water and electricity are functioning without disruption.”
He further informed that administration teams are actively present on the ground to assist wherever required. “In case of emergency, people should call the helpline numbers issued. Immediate assistance will be provided,” Garg assured.
