PDP senior leader Ravi Kumar Bali resigns from Primary membership
I am pushed to wall, blue eyed persons given priority after Late Mufti Sayeed sahab
It was a humble political journey in PDP under the leadership of incomparable and most respected, late Shri Mufti Mohammed Sayeed sahab who laid the foundation of his Party and gave opportunity to everyone from every section of society to represent themselves.
In all these years, Ravi Kumar Bali, senior leader J&K Peoples Democratic party worked with dedication and made all efforts to spread the message of Late Mufti sahab among the people. Mufti sahab provided us all the space we required and gave us an opportunity to work with his support.
However, the circumstances changed after his demise. I was devastated with his demise as he was one of the tallest leaders who nourished us politically and taught us how to work among the people.
As the years passed on, like many other leaders and workers who were close to the Mufti sahab were sidelined and no one listened to us. We were almost pushed to the wall as the PDP seemed to have been hijacked by some of the blue eyed persons.
I have worked as State Secretary and Incharge of the Jammu Office of the Party. I too have contested as MLA candidate from Jammu West Assembly on the ticket of the PDP. I worked with support from Late Mufti sahab, but now the days have changed and the PDP decides agenda on the basis of some of the blue eyed persons.
The circumstances have compelled me to part ways from the Party and resign from the primary membership of the PDP. The reasons are not some, but many particularly for doing politics of votes without bothering about the consequences which may lead to another era of bloodshed.
