Senior congress leader Karamat quits congress, joins BJP
Senior congress leader Karamat from Darhal, Rajouri alongwith his hundreds of supporters joined BJP in the presence of J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina, Vice-President Yudhvir Sethi and General Secretary Adv. Vibodh Gupta at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Iqbal Malik, Qayoom Mir and others were also present on the occasion.
Ravinder Raina, while welcoming new entrants into the party fold praised Karamat for his wise decision to join the party. He said he has served the society for many years earlier and has now decided to join the BJP in order to do further good for his society and nation. He expressed hope that his efforts will further strengthen the organization in the area and will expedite the development works in the area. He asked him to work on the principle of “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vishwas” while serving the party and the society.
“Modi government with his dedicated efforts for the masses has earned a special space in the hearts of people and the people are themselves coming forward to join his mission,” Raina added.
New entrants, on the occasion, highlighted the achievements of Modi government in their respective areas. They said that only BJP is the mainstream political party that talks about development of all irrespective of color, caste, creed, region or religion.
