Srinagar, July 3, 2025: The State Investigation Agency (SIA), Kashmir on Thursday conducted search operations at the residences of two suspects in Anantnag district in connection with the killing of a non-local man, Raja Sah, in Bijbehara on April 17, 2024.
According to a police spokesperson, the searches were carried out in the jurisdiction of Bijbehara Police Station as part of an ongoing investigation aimed at uncovering the broader conspiracy and identifying accomplices involved in the crime.
“The operations were executed with due legal process and have led to the recovery of crucial evidence expected to significantly aid the investigation,” the spokesperson said.
The SIA has been intensifying efforts to bring to justice those involved in targeted attacks on non-locals in the region.
