JAMMU, August 6, 2025 : General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Army’s White Knight Corps, Lt Gen P K Mishra, on Wednesday reviewed the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir’s border district of Poonch, with emphasis on operational preparedness and coordinated threat response to counter enemy activities.
Lt Gen Mishra was accompanied by Maj Gen Kaushik Mukherjee, GOC of the 25 Infantry Division (Ace of Spades Division), during his visit to forward areas along the Line of Control (LoC) under the Poonch brigade.
According to officials, the Corps Commander was briefed on the prevailing security scenario, threat perception, and the current operational posture of troops in the region.
In a post on X, the White Knight Corps said Lt Gen Mishra highlighted the importance of operational dominance and an integrated response mechanism to neutralize “nefarious designs” of adversaries.
He also interacted with troops, lauding their high morale and combat readiness amid evolving security challenges.
