Srinagar, May 25, 2026 : Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday handed over regularisation orders to Contingent Paid Workers (CPWs) of the School Education Department during a function held at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar.
Minister for School Education, Sakina Itoo, was also present on the occasion.
Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Dheeraj Gupta, Special Secretary School Education Ghulam Rasool Mir, Director School Education Kashmir Naseer Ahmed Wani and other senior officers of the department attended the programme.
During the event, the Chief Minister personally handed over regularisation orders to CPWs from Ganderbal and Bandipora districts and extended his best wishes to them for their future service.
Omar Abdullah expressed hope that the employees would continue to serve with sincerity, commitment and dedication towards strengthening the School Education Department and improving public service delivery across Jammu and Kashmir.
The beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister and the government for resolving their long-pending issue and granting them regularisation orders.
