SRINAGAR, May 26, 2026 : Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, wishing peace, prosperity and happiness for all.
In his felicitation message, the Chief Minister said that Eid-ul-Adha symbolises the values of sacrifice, compassion, generosity and unwavering faith in Almighty Allah. He said the sacred festival inspires people to strengthen the spirit of brotherhood, kindness and selfless service towards humanity.
Recalling the supreme sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) and the devotion of Hazrat Ismail (AS), Omar Abdullah said their timeless legacy continues to guide humanity towards righteousness, patience and obedience to the will of Allah.
The Chief Minister expressed hope that the blessed occasion would further strengthen communal harmony, mutual respect and social unity across Jammu & Kashmir.
He also appealed to people to remember the poor, needy and underprivileged during the Eid celebrations and share the happiness and blessings of the festival with them.
Omar Abdullah prayed for lasting peace, wellbeing and prosperity for the people and hoped that Eid-ul-Adha brings joy, harmony and blessings to every household.
